Ministry Leadership Team
_The leadership team at Calvary meets on a monthly basis and is
comprised of five ministry areas: Missions, Worship, Christian
Formation, Community Life, and Administration. Each ministry
has a coordinator and a support team who keep each ministry running smoothly and effectively. The five coordinators, plus the pastor, form the Ministry Leadership Team - MLT.
Pastor Lloyd Oakey
_Pastor Lloyd Oakey provides spiritual
leadership for the Ministry Leadership Team and the congregation as a
whole. A graduate of Eastern Pentecostal Bible College (aka Master's
College and Seminary), and a Reverand of the Pentacostal Assemblies of
Canada, Pastor Oakey has provided solid leadership to congregations
across Southwestern Ontario for over 30 years - along with his wife,
Margaret, and five children. He joined the Calvary Church Ministry
Leadership Team in 2004 as the Transitional Pastor.
Worship Ministry Coordinator

- Organizes Sunday worship services, themes, and special events
- Includes inviting special speakers, planning Easter and Christmas activities, and communion and baptism preparation
Formation Ministry Coordinator

- Responsible for nursery, KidsQuest, Youth Central, Small Groups, Outreach to new members etc.
Missions Ministry Coordinator
_
- Involved with short term mission projects and missionary support
- Partners with the Mennonite Central Committee, Mennonite Disaster Service, and New Hamburg Thrift Centre.
Community Life Coordinator

- Plans church wide fellowships
- Responsibilities include organizing potlucks, funeral lunches, the annual Christmas banquet and outings like curling and sleigh rides, in-house benevolence, and pastoral care of congregation.
Administration Coordinator

- Responsible for church finances, employee relations, facilities maintenance and building projects
